Collaborative Future
Entry for University of Oregon A&AA Intersection Design Competition
As our world becomes increasingly complex, education must give professionals access to highly diverse knowledge. The path toward holistic thinking is through collaboration and effective dialogue across disciplines. In our proposal for a new School of Architecture and Allied Arts (recently renamed School of Design), we see prudence in incentivizating interdisciplinary collaboration as a comprehensive and integrative approach to education and problem solving. We envision the new school as a hub of innovation where future professionals become active citizens, working together to improve the connectedness of environment and people toward a future of unbridled possibility.
Location: Eugene, OR, USA
Program: idea competition
Date: 2015
Award: University of Oregon A&AA Intersection Design Competition, Second Place
In collaboration with Terra Wheeler and Bryan Hadley
